Giovanni Strazza's Veiled Lady (Rome, c. 1850) is one of the most technically demanding works in the history of marble sculpture — a veil so thinly carved the face beneath appears to breathe. The Large Veiled Lady brings that scale and presence to soy wax: 550 g of natural soy wax in a form that earns its place on a mantelpiece, a large shelf, or a dining table centrepiece.
At 14 cm and 550 g, this is the closest in presence to the original sculpture — commanding enough to anchor a room without needing anything around it, and detailed enough to hold attention at close range. Hand-poured at our Orlando studio and individually hand-finished. Available in 10 colours including Ivory, Beige, and Dusty Rose.
