Shipping Policy – Votive Candle Co. 

At Votive Candle Co, we take great care in packaging and shipping your candles so they arrive in perfect condition — ready to bring light, calm, and beauty to your space.


🚚 Processing & Shipping Times

All of our products are handmade to order, which means we begin crafting your items once your order is confirmed.

  • Processing time: 3–5 business days

  • Standard delivery: 2–6 business days (depending on your location)

Orders are shipped from our U.S. fulfillment center in Florida. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order ships.


📦 Shipping Methods

We currently ship within the United States only. Orders are shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on destination and weight.

Please note:

  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally at this time.

  • Expedited shipping is currently not available due to the handcrafted nature of our products.


💵 Shipping Rates

  • Flat rate shipping: $9.90

  • Free shipping on orders over $74

📌 Free shipping applies only to the Contiguous U.S. States. Additional shipping charges apply to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories, and will be calculated at checkout.


💳 Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.

📌 Sales tax is applied to Florida orders as required by law.


🕯️ Our Craftsmanship Promise

Votive candles are handmade using 100% natural soy or beeswax. Variations such as frosting, mold lines, or surface texture are normal and reflect the authenticity of our materials. These are not defects.


📬 Issues with Delivery or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery at contact@votivecandlestore.com.

Include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging (inside and outside)

We will work with you to resolve the issue with a replacement, store credit, or refund.


⛔ Missing or Stolen Packages

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they are marked as delivered by the carrier.

  • Check your tracking link and with neighbors.

  • Contact the carrier directly for resolution.

  • Consider shipping to a secure address where someone can receive your package.


🔄 Order Changes & Cancellations

Because we begin crafting candles shortly after an order is placed, changes or cancellations must be requested within 12 hours of order confirmation.


⚖️ Notice to California Residents

In accordance with California Business and Professions Code §17538, if we cannot ship your order within 30 days, we will notify you via email and offer:

  • A revised delivery estimate

  • The option to cancel your order for a full refund

  • A comparable replacement product (if available)

We comply with all applicable California consumer laws.
