Poseidon ruled the seas, earthquakes, and storms — the unpredictable forces of the natural world. The Poseidon Scented Candle opens with the bright, sharp clarity of bergamot, lemon, and black pepper — then deepens through cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg into a warm, resinous base of black amber, cedarwood, and musk.

Poured from 100% natural soy wax at our Orlando studio into a handcrafted vessel. Bold, refined, and unmistakably striking.

Fragrance Profile – Citrus · Spice · Amber & Woods

      • Top notes: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Lemon
      • Middle notes: Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg
      • Base notes: Black Amber, Cedarwood, Musk

A citrus opening gives way to warm spice and rich, resinous depth — bold, complex, and impossible to ignore.

      Candle care

      • First burn: Allow the wax pool to reach the edges before extinguishing — this prevents tunnelling and extends burn life.
      • Wick care: Trim the wick to 5 mm before every burn for a clean, steady flame.
      • 💧FillingAdd 3–5 drops of your preferred essential oil, or combine with a small amount of water in the dish. Do not overfill.
      • 🕯️Heat sourceUse with an unscented tea light or a compatible electric warmer. Check the warmer is the right size for your burner before use.
      • 🧼CleaningAllow the dish to cool completely. Wipe out residual oil with a dry cloth or cotton pad before adding a new blend. Deep clean with mild soap and warm water occasionally.
      • ⚗️Essential oilsWe recommend pure, high-quality essential oils. Avoid synthetic fragrance oils which can leave sticky residue and may not be safe when heated.
      • 🔥SafetyNever leave a lit tea light unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials. Place on a heat-resistant surface.
Can I use any essential oil?

Yes — you can use any pure essential oil or blend. We recommend starting with 3–5 drops. Avoid synthetic fragrance oils as they can leave residue and some are not safe when heated. Look for oils that are labelled as therapeutic-grade or 100% pure.

How long does the fragrance last per session?

This varies by oil and warmer temperature, but most oils diffuse actively for 2–4 hours per session. Once the scent fades, simply clean the dish and add a fresh blend.

      Is it safe around pets?

Some essential oils are harmful to cats, dogs, and other pets — particularly tea tree, eucalyptus, citrus oils, and peppermint. We recommend researching pet-safe oils before use in rooms where animals spend time. Our ceramic and resin materials are inert and pet-safe when not heated.

Do I need water in the dish?

Not necessarily. Many oil burners work with neat essential oil in the dish; some people prefer to dilute with a small amount of water to extend the session. Electric warmers typically work best with neat oil — check your warmer's instructions.
