Gradient color has fascinated artists for centuries. Leonardo da Vinci developed sfumato — a smoky blending of tones with no hard edge — to make his painted figures seem alive with light. Nineteenth-century textile artists perfected ombré hand-dyeing to render the transitions of dawn, dusk, and the deep sea in fabric. The Japanese shibori tradition uses dip-dyeing to capture the precise moment a color moves from one shade into another. An Ombre Taper Candle is a small version of the same pursuit: color caught in the act of becoming something else.
This taper is hand-poured in layers from 100% natural soy wax at our Orlando studio. Standing 10 inches (25.4 cm) tall, it's sized for standard taper holders and available in 10 gradient colorways — from light Ivory and Powder Blue to deep Moss Green and Black. Unscented, so the visual shift is the whole experience.

Trim wick to ¼" before each burn. Keep away from drafts and flammable materials. Never leave burning unattended. For best results, allow wax to pool to the edges on first burn.
