This Artemis moon goddess candle brings one of antiquity's most sovereign figures into sculptural form. Artemis was the goddess of the hunt, the moon, and the wilderness — the twin sister of Apollo and one of the most self-possessed figures in the Greek pantheon. Where other goddesses were defined by their relationships, Artemis was defined by her sovereignty. This sculpture captures that quality: composed, watchful, entirely her own.
The Artemis Bust Candle is one of our largest sculptural pieces — hand-poured from 100% natural soy wax at our Orlando studio, weighing 470 g and hand-finished individually. The detail in the facial features and draped form is precise. Lit, it glows. Unlit, it anchors a shelf.
