For three thousand years, the female bust has been the central subject of Western sculpture — from the anonymous terracotta figures of ancient Greece to the polished marble of the Hellenistic period. In classical iconography, goddesses were often depicted crowned with flowers: laurel for Apollo, olive for Athena, and the soft blooms of spring for Persephone, Demeter, and Aphrodite. This sculpture belongs to that tradition.
The Greek Goddess Bust Candle is hand-poured from 100% natural soy wax in our Orlando, Florida studio. The floral-adorned figure is individually hand-finished, with surface detail that reveals new texture as the wax softens during a burn. A sculptural object first, a candle second — and both at once.
Available scents: French Vanilla · Amber Musk · Cherry Merlot · Orange Berry Bliss · White Eucalyptus · Mermaid's Lagoon · Woody · Coconut Lime — all phthalate-free.
