Candles can provide a warm and welcoming ambiance in any room, but it's important to use them safely.

Below, we bring to your attention some tips to keep in mind when using candles.

Candle Care Guide and Warnings:

  • Never leave a candle unattended; always extinguish candles when leaving the room or going to sleep.
  • After lighting, it's recommended to let the candle burn until the entire top layer has melted to prevent unwanted hollows on the surface.
  • Keep candles away from flammable objects; keep candles away from curtains, bedding, paper products, and other flammable materials.
  • Do not leave candles within reach of children and pets; children and pets can accidentally interact with candles, so it's important to keep them out of reach.
  • For optimal burning, we recommend regularly trimming the wick; keep the wick trimmed to between 0.5 cm - 1 cm (about 0.2 inches - 0.4 inches) to prevent a large flame from forming.
  • Do not burn candles to the end; extinguish the candle before it burns down completely and always leave at least 1 cm (about 0.4 inches) of wax at the bottom of the container.
  • Do not blow on the candle to extinguish it; use a snuffer to extinguish the candle.
  • Keep candles on a stable holder; place candles on a stable holder that will not tip over or catch fire. Burn candles only in specific containers. Candles should be positioned vertically so that the wax burns evenly.
  • Always place the candle on heat-resistant surfaces and avoid heaters and other hot surfaces.
  • Do not touch or move a burning candle; wait for the candle to cool and solidify before touching or moving it.
  • Do not use candles during a power outage; instead, use flashlights or battery-operated candles.
  • Do not burn candles near water; water can cause wax splashing and may cause a fire.
  • Always read the label and follow the instructions; each candle may have different safety instructions, so read the label and carefully follow the instructions.
  • Wait until the wax has cooled before lighting it again.
  • Do not leave the candle burning for more than four hours at a time.
  • Do not light the candle near an open window or in places where air currents are strong.
  • Keep the candle away from ventilation and vent openings at all times.
  • If using more than one candle at a time, leave a space of 10 cm (about 4 inches) between them.
  • Store candles in a cool place, away from sunlight.

By heeding these warnings, you can safely enjoy the ambiance and fragrance of candles in your home.
